The Old Bell Hotel in Warminster has been included for the first time in the 2026 edition of CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide.
Landlord James Sullivan-Tailyour said being included in the Guide was “a huge honour” for the team and recognition of the effort put into keeping beer to a high standard.
The 14th century coaching inn offers a range of Wadworths beers alongside craft and real ales.
“The Good Beer Guide is the standard for quality pubs, so to be included for the first time is fantastic,” said James. “We take real care to make sure our ales are in the best possible condition, and this entry is recognition of the effort the whole team puts in.
“Real ale is something we feel is important to promote, and we’re proud to be part of keeping that tradition going locally.”
The Good Beer Guide calls the Old Bell a ‘handsome old inn’ and its entry highlights the Old Bell’s food offer, which includes breakfasts, Thai cuisine, pub classics and Sunday roasts.
The venue also hosts popular acoustic nights every Thursday, and features two log fires in winter and a secluded courtyard for outdoor dining.
The Old Bell is in the centre of town in the Market Place. For more details, visit https://oldbellwarminster.co.uk
The Fox & Hounds in Deverill Road, Warminster has also been listed in the Guide.
