A fundraising dinner has raised £1,400 in aid of Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).
Held at the Agra on East Street, attendees took part in a raffle to help support the charity which provides life-changing experiences for disabled children and adults across the UK.
The Warminster branch of RDA, which is based at the Saddle Club in Warminster School of Infantry, teamed up with their Bradford-on-Avon counterparts – the Saxons Group – for the fundraising dinner in March.
Caroline Hutton, treasurer at the Warminster branch of Riding for the Disabled, said, “It was a great success with over £1,400 was raised and shared equally amongst the two groups. 84 people attended the event, which was done with two sittings, and we should like to thank the Agra for their amazing food and service.
“Thanks should also go to local businesses and individuals for wonderful raffle prizes.”
