Warminster Town Football Club is taking steps to create a more environmentally friendly matchday experience.
The club has received a welcome boost from local business Prestbury Sports Bar, which has sponsored a new set of reusable plastic pint cups.
The cups – which feature both the Warminster Town FC and Prestbury Sports Bar logos – will be used at the club’s home matches as part of a new initiative to reduce waste and promote sustainability.
Supporters can use the cups by paying a £2 cash deposit, refunded in full when the cup is returned.
A spokesperson for the club said, “We’re extremely grateful to Prestbury Sports Bar for their support. It’s great to see a local business getting involved in the community and helping us take steps towards a more environmentally friendly matchday experience.”
The sponsorship is also part of a wider effort by Warminster Town FC to build stronger links with the local business community.
“Sponsorships like this are essential to the continued growth and success of the club,” the spokesperson added. “We welcome enquiries from any businesses interested in supporting WTFC.”
