A team of friends will take on a 12-hour charity cycle to raise money in aid of a Warminster family affected by Motor Neurone Disease.
Studiobelle Fitness Studio is hosting the special fundraiser on Saturday 12th July, from midday to midnight.
The ‘spinathon’ will be taken on by Su and Glyn Mortley, Eddie Over, Steve ‘Stan’ Matthews, Jimmy Knibbs, Leanne Ebdon and Jay Highton. Studiobelle members will also support the team – the majority of whom are ex-Forces.
Su said, “We are raising vital funds for Jon Over and his family. Jon has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 42.
“As a result, their lives have been turned upside down by this devastating news. Jon served 22 years in the Royal Navy, was a keen and high-level sportsman, and, as well as being a thoroughly top bloke, he has always been there to help others.
“Now it’s our turn to help him by raising as much money as we can. We want to ensure he gets the chance to make memories with his wife and family while this is still possible, and to fund essential items as the condition progresses.”
