A Warminster glove manufacturer recently welcomed the president of the Royal Warrant Holders Association for a tour of its factory and museum.
Dents, which holds a Royal Warrant as Manufacturer of Gloves to His Majesty the King, showed Philip Coward around its headquarters, giving him a close look at the glove-making process. Alongside Dents CEO Deborah Moore, he also visited the Dents Museum, where he saw a historic glove believed to have been worn by Queen Elizabeth II at her coronation.
A spokesperson from Dents said, “As Chairman of Hillbrush in Mere, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year, he was especially keen to learn more about the manufacturing process.
“As part of the visit, he was given a tour of the Fashion Museum Bath collection, which is currently being stored at Dents ahead of the opening of the new Fashion Museum at the site of the former Post Office building in Bath, scheduled for 2030.”
