A local primary school’s new outdoor classroom is set to benefit from a £1,000 donation from Warminster Lions Club.
The money will be used to buy learning materials for the outdoor space at Minster CofE Primary School.
“We are incredibly grateful to Warminster Lions Club for their generous donation,” said Headteacher James Hobbs.
“Our new outdoor classroom is already proving to be a valuable space for learning, wellbeing and creativity, and this funding will enable us to equip it fully so that all pupils can benefit from high quality outdoor learning opportunities.”
The Lions club uses profits from its second-hand book shop in George Street to donate to local causes.
