About Us

Warminster Journal is a free fortnightly newspaper serving the town of Warminster and surrounding villages. 9,000 printed copies are distributed door to door every fortnight, and the digital edition is available to read online for free.

Founded in 1881, the paper has been trusted by generations of Warminster residents. It covers local news, schools, clubs, organisations and community events, with a strong focus on celebrating local voices.

Warminster Journal is owned, produced and run by local people. It is published by Wiltshire Publications Ltd, a family-owned business committed to supporting independent local journalism. Wiltshire Publications took over ownership of the Warminster Journal from Coates and Parker in 2025.
