The Carnival Chase run brought together 150 runners to raise money for Warminster Carnival
The event, hosted by Redfish Events, took place on Sunday 7th September, with participants competing across three races: a 10k, a 3k and a 1.2k.
“We had an amazing event, although very, very wet,” said Tracey Hyde, co-founder of Redfish Events. “The runners were fantastic and luckily, the lightning stayed just out of the way. My marshals, what can I say, they were amazing standing out in the rain.”
The 10k was won by Warminster resident Jamie Verden in 37:24, the 3k by Leo Elkington, and the 1.2k by Warminster’s Luke Bradley.
The event raised £500 for Warminster Carnival, which is set to take place on Saturday 25th October.
