A running event for all ages and abilities will return next month in support of Warminster Carnival.
Starting from the Lake Pleasure Grounds on Sunday 6th September, the event offers a choice of 10k, 3k and a 1.2k family, wheelchair, and buggy fun run.
“This picturesque run will take you down country lanes, tracks and trails,” said Tracey Hyde from Redfish Events, which is organising the event. “There are no stiles but a few kissing gates.”
The 10k starts at 10.30am and is open to runners aged 16 and over. The 3k starts at 10.45am and is open to all, though under-10s must be accompanied. The 1.2k fun run is suitable for families, wheelchairs, and buggies, and begins at 10.50am.
All finishers will receive a medal, and prizes will be awarded in each event category.
Last year, the event raised £500 for the carnival, which is returning to Warminster on Saturday 31st October.
