Volunteers and members from the Wessex MS Therapy Centre recently enjoyed a special visit to the gardens of Highgrove, the private residence of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Accompanied by Sarah Folker, welfare and outreach coordinator, the group were treated to a tour led by Carrie, a valued supporter of the Wessex MS Therapy Centre and also a dedicated garden guide at the estate near Tetbury.
The Wessex MS Therapy Centre, based in Warminster, supports people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.
As part of its commitment to improving wellbeing and reducing isolation, the centre regularly organises day trips and social outings for its members and the centre’s team said this visit to Highgrove was a particularly special treat.
Sarah said, “This was such a joyful and uplifting day for everyone. These trips mean a great deal to our members and provide valuable moments of connection, relaxation and inspiration.
“The day ended with tea and cake in the Orchard Room restaurant, where guests relaxed and reflected on a truly memorable experience.”
