Music lovers in Warminster are in for a treat as Prestbury Sports Bar unveils a star-studded lineup of tribute acts, promising Saturday nights filled with nostalgia, showmanship and chart-topping classics – all free of charge.
From June through November, some of the UK’s most celebrated tribute performers will take to the stage, bringing to life the music of legends including Freddie Mercury, The Beatles, Lady Gaga, Stereophonics, The Jam, and more.
The excitement kicks off on Saturday, June 21, with a Freddie Mercury tribute praised for “vibrant vocals” and a stage presence that catches the Queen frontman with uncanny precision. On July 5, fans of the Fab Four won’t want to miss Two Beatles, dubbed the country’s “leading Beatles tribute” with their faithful sound and impeccable attention to detail.
Pop powerhouse Lady Gaga takes the spotlight on August 23, with a tribute act known for nine costume changes, slick dance routines, and a voice to match. Then it’s on to rock with the Stereophonics tribute on October 11, led by a frontman whose likeness to Kelly Jones is so spot-on, he once performed with the Stereophonics drummer, the late Stuart Cable.
Mod revivalists will flock to The Jam Project on November 1, lauded for their raw energy and authentic Paul Weller sound, followed by The Specialised on November 29, a tribute to The Specials and Madness that promises a high-octane set packed with ska classics.
Prestbury Sports Bar has steadily built a reputation as Warminster’s go-to venue for live music.
