Business owners and professionals from across Warminster and the surrounding villages gathered at The Old Bell Hotel on Wednesday, 24th September, for the first Warminster Business Network Breakfast.
The event provided a relaxed setting for local business people to share ideas, make new connections and learn more about the network’s initiatives.
Amongst the topics discussed were several initiatives the group has been involved in, including the success of the Warminster Independent Markets and plans to launch the first-ever Warminster Business Awards, set to feature a gala dinner celebrating local talent and enterprise. Attendees also shared ideas on how to further improve the town, as well as raising concerns around business rates which are to be raised with local MP Andrew Murrison at a meeting planned for later this month.
Speaking after the event, one of the organisers, James Sullivan-Tailyour from The Old Bell said, “It’s great to see local businesses get together to discuss local issues, share knowledge and work to increase prosperity both for local businesses and the town as a whole. We plan further breakfasts and events which are open all business people in the local area.”
