The free Inspire music festival returns to Warminster’s Town Park on Sunday 6th July for an unforgettable afternoon of live music.
This will be the tenth Inspire event since its launch in 2013. This year, nine acts are lined up to perform between 1pm and 7pm.
Tom Hiscocks, part of the Inspire team, said: “Kicking off the afternoon are the Sitting Ducks, bringing sun-soaked rock, indie and pop covers to the boating lake. They’ll be followed by Seren, an 18-year-old singer-songwriter whose delicate guitar work leaves a lasting impression.
“Next, things take a wild turn with Dr Alibi, who mixes punk, garage rock, glam and B-movie flair into a thrilling sonic cocktail. Professional wedding singer Imogen Hopwood then takes centre stage with her favourite upbeat pop hits.
“Halfway through the line-up comes Rockport Blues, a tight and technically impressive blues-rock outfit. Izzy Wheeler follows with folk-influenced covers on a guitar she built herself.

“Next up is Epiphany, a young rock band from the South West. Veterans M.G.B. will then bring heartfelt acoustic covers and a rich musical backstory to the stage. Headlining the evening are Train to Skaville — a nine-piece ska and Two Tone band with a reputation for turning any crowd into a dancefloor.”
There will be a selection of stalls such as the Cosy Kitchen, Demain Artisan, The Garden Bar and the Old Fire Station. There will also be crafts and kids’ activities, including henna tattoos, face-painting and ice cream.
Tom added, “This year’s festival is made possible thanks to a dedicated volunteer committee, with Heather Skyrme now leading the charge after long-time organiser Vron Mills handed over the reins. Vron continues to advise, but Heather’s energy and vision have ensured that Inspire not only survives — it thrives.
“So mark your calendars, bring your blankets, and come down to Warminster Park on Sunday 6th July for an afternoon of brilliant local music – all totally free.”
