The Warminster and Wylye Valley Flower Club enjoyed a colourful and entertaining afternoon in the company of Cathryn Brown whose arrangements and interpretation of ‘50 shades of colourful’ produced modern arrangements with beautiful flowers in luscious colours.
Complimentary foliage was provided by club members, and the scent of the flowering Osmanthus Burkwoodii filled the hall. Cathryn was very generous with her arrangements, and we had 10 to be won in the raffle by very happy club members.
The club competition was won by Rosemary Reynolds for her interpretation of ‘Autumn Abundance’ displayed in a basket woven by her in a previous workshop. Well done to her as all the arrangements submitted were stunning.
The usual tea and biscuits ended another enjoyable afternoon.
The next club meeting is on 28th October at 2.30pm in the Civic Centre.
