A new social group launched in Warminster earlier this month, with almost 40 women attending the first session.
The first meeting of the Women of Warminster (WoW) group took place on Wednesday 1st April, where attendees were introduced to the committee and made and decorated Easter boxes.
“We had a thoroughly enjoyable inaugural meeting of WoW,” said Chair Mel and Secretary Sandra.
“Whilst constructing and decorating little boxes for Easter eggs, laughter and chatter filled the room as the ladies met new people and caught up with friends. The evening was deemed a huge success, with lots of positive feedback.”
The group’s next meeting will include a talk from Wiltshire Search and Rescue. It will take place on Wednesday 6th May at 7.30pm at Warminster Baptist Church Hall.
