The splash pad in Warminster’s Lake Pleasure Grounds will open for the season on Friday 24th April with extended opening times.
The popular attraction will be open daily from 10am to 6pm, an extra hour compared to previous years.
The attraction, which opened in 2022, has several water features and has attracted thousands of visitors since opening.
“The Lake Pleasure Grounds and splash pad are loved by the people of Warminster and we’re delighted to open for an extra hour this year,” said a Warminster Town Council spokesperson. “Make a day of visiting the park and enjoying our wonderful community space.”
The nearby Pavilion Parlour is open seven days a week, selling ice cream, drinks and snacks as well as splash pad accessories.
The town council is reminding visitors it is vital to follow the safety rules stated on signage in the splash pad area.
People are asked to park considerately if visiting the splash pad by car by using nearby car parks and not double parking on Weymouth Street.
