A new peer support group is opening for unpaid carers in Warminster to relax, unwind and make friends through gaming.
The group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 4pm to 7pm at FactoruM, Unit 34-36 Deveril Road Trading Estate.
Run by Carer Support Wiltshire, the group is focused on all things gaming, with board games, tabletop games, and models and paints.
The group is open not only to carers but also to the individuals they support. No booking, preparation or experience is required.
“We’re thrilled to launch a unique monthly gaming night in partnership with FactoruM, giving unpaid carers a regular opportunity to unwind, connect with others in similar situations, and enjoy themselves in a way that traditional support groups often don’t offer – especially for men and those balancing work and caring,” said Martina Gibson, Head of Services and Volunteering.
Carer Support Wiltshire can be contacted on 0800 181 4118, and information can be found at carersupportwiltshire.co.uk
