A dinosaur-themed loyalty card is being introduced in Warminster for the duration of the Roarminster event to encourage residents and visitors to shop locally.
People will be issued with stamps on their loyalty cards when they spend £10 or more at participating businesses across the town. Customers who collect 10 stamps over an eight-week period will be entered into a prize draw.
Participants may enter multiple times by completing additional cards. The prize is a £500 voucher to be spent at participating businesses.

“The Roarminster Loyalty Card is a great example of what can be achieved when local businesses and the town council work together,” said Matt Towl, chair of the Warminster Business Network, which received a £1,000 grant from Warminster Town Council to organise the scheme.
“By encouraging residents and visitors to spend locally and experience the full range of businesses that make Warminster unique, we’re helping to keep more spending in the town, support local enterprises and create reasons for people to come back and visit again.”
Mayor Jack Jones said, “The idea is simple but effective – encouraging residents and visitors to support local businesses, discover new shops and venues and keep more spending within our local economy.
“It is a great example of how community events can benefit not only families and visitors but also the businesses that are at the heart of our town.”
Roarminster, which includes a model dinosaur trail throughout the town, will run from 11th July to 5th September.
