Local veterans came together to raise funds for the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance at a recent charity games night.
Groups from the Royal Irish Rangers, the Royal Green Jackets, the Royal British Legion, the Conservative Club and the Wyvern Warriors competed and raised £220 for the charity. The Royal Irish Rangers were the overall winners.
“On the night, the air ambulance team gave a brief update on all the great work that they carry out across the county and further afield,” said Captain Tom O’Brien.
“A massive thank you to the Conservative Club for hosting an excellent evening. Well done to our local veteran community, who over the last few years have raised some much-needed funds for local charities and organisations.”
