Warminster Town’s Under-18s have been crowned league champions in their debut season, sealing the title in impressive fashion with a game to spare.
The newly formed side have gone unbeaten across 11 matches, scoring 54 goals and conceding just 11.
“We’re absolutely delighted to see our Under-18s crowned league champions in their very first season,” said manager Manager Rob Nash. “It’s a fantastic achievement and one that everyone connected with Warminster Town Football Club is incredibly proud of.
“From the very beginning, this group of players has shown real commitment, togetherness, and a desire to improve week in, week out. The way they’ve approached the season both in training and on matchdays has been outstanding, and they’ve fully deserved their success. It’s fantastic to bring silverware to the club in the very first season of the U18s setup.
“Importantly, several of our players have also featured in first team matches throughout the season, demonstrating that as a club we have a clear and effective pathway in place for young players to progress into senior football.
“This success is also a reflection of the wider support around the team. The backing from parents, supporters, and the club as a whole has been brilliant throughout the season and has played a big part in helping the players perform at their best.
“To win the league with a game to spare; and to do so in such convincing fashion is a testament to the hard work that’s gone in over the course of the year. The challenge now is to finish the season strongly and continue building on what is a very promising foundation for the future.”
Rob also paid tribute to the coaching staff and the sponsorship the team has received from Snap Fitness, Kinder Timber Products, RJH Transport Services Ltd, and ITS Construction who have provided home and away kits and training wear.
