Hundreds of local people attended the third Health and Wellbeing Fair in Warminster this month to explore local health services.
The event featured 44 exhibitors offering help and advice relating to health, exercise and local support.
Attendees included Warminster MP Dr Andrew Murrison and modern pentathlete and Olympic gold medallist Kate French MBE.
“Attendance levels were even higher than the last fair three years ago and public feedback was, again, extremely positive,” said David Reeves from Health and Wellbeing Warminster, which organised the event. “People need to know what’s out there before they can start to access help and the fair was an ideal opportunity.
“We have also updated and redesigned our popular free booklet to ensure lasting impact and awareness.”
The booklet offers information and contact details for more than 100 local organisations offering health and wellbeing services.
It is available to pick up from Warminster Library, the information centre at the Warminster Athenaeum and the Warminster Garrison Welfare Centre. It is also available online at https://healthwellbeingwarminster.org.uk/activities/
