Children at a local primary school enjoyed a non-school uniform day last week in support of Children in Need.
Pupils at St John’s CofE Primary School were encouraged to come to school wearing a Pudsey T-shirt or outfit, their favourite superhero costume, something yellow or something spotty on Friday 14th November to raise money for the charity.
Assistant headteacher Charlotte Walker said, “They all looked super!”
“All of the children enjoyed finding out about the different charity groups that Children in Need support.”
A Year 3 pupil described it as “the best day.”
BBC Children in Need supports charities, organisations and programmes across the United Kingdom that aim to improve the lives of children and young people.
