Planning permission has been granted for a further 266 homes at the Jubilee Gardens development in Warminster, taking the total number approved on the site to 772.
The latest phase marks a continued expansion of the large-scale housing scheme, which is being delivered in stages by Persimmon Homes Wessex.
Phase four will also include 61 homes for a local housing association, forming part of wider plans that are expected to deliver around 300 affordable properties across the development once complete.
Alongside new housing, the wider scheme will provide sports pitches, changing facilities, allotments and ecological areas designed to support green space and community use.
Persimmon Homes Wessex said the latest approval will bring further investment into the town and contribute to infrastructure funding through Community Infrastructure Levy payments.
