The Warminster and Westbury Visually Impaired Club supports adults with visual impairments through weekly social meetings.
The club meets every Monday between 2pm and 4pm at St John’s Hall in Warminster.
The meetings are for adults who are either blind or have visual impairments, and offers members a chance to socialise, enjoy entertainment and share coping strategies.
“Events range from musical entertainers to tai chi, special bingo, short stories and poetry,” said Steve Kervell from the club. “However, the main reason for the club continues to be a weekly chance to have a break, chat and have fun with their friends.
“Every meeting also has the benefit tea or coffee with cakes and savouries!”
The club meetings cost £5 per person. If members are unable to make their own way to the hall, the group can arrange for volunteers to assist with transport.
