Hundreds of visitors climbed aboard vintage buses in Warminster which once again brought people to the ‘lost village’ of Imber on Salisbury Plain.
On the day of this year’s event, Saturday 16th August, almost 40 buses ran, with access to Imber exclusively available by bus.
Imberbus events began in 2009, with a group of bus industry professionals achieving their long-standing ambition of running a bus service from Warminster to the abandoned village of Imber on Salisbury Plain.
It has since become an annual event, with funds being donated to the Friends of St. Giles’s Church, Imber, the Royal British Legion, and to other charities, both local and ones nominated by those who help run the service.
