A handmade hedgehog house has been donated to Warminster Town Council to support local wildlife in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
Staff from Farnfields Solicitors presented the habitat to council representatives on Tuesday 8th September to mark the firm’s 90th anniversary.
In partnership with the Men’s Shed in Sturminster Newton, the firm has created handmade wildlife habitats, including bird boxes, bug hotels and hedgehog houses.
The habitat has now been installed in the Elizabeth Collyns Garden within the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
Estates Manager Kevin Whitehorn said, “This is a lovely idea. We’re delighted to accept this new hedgehog home as we continue to work alongside local businesses to improve our community spaces.”
A Farnfields Solicitors spokesperson said, “We hope these small habitats bring joy to the outdoor space and help local wildlife thrive.”
