Pupils at a local primary school exhibited their homework projects during a museum day last month.
Children at Crockerton C of E Primary School worked in their school houses to create dedicated museum rooms throughout the school. Pupils served as experts in the rooms, teaching each other about their work.
“This year our museum had a space room, a room about Crockerton and London, an Egyptian room with pyramids and pharaohs and our oldest children shared their research and homework about disasters,” said Headteacher Nic Ilic.
Projects on display included a recreation of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami in a shoebox, models of London landmarks and artwork of Ancient Egyptian death masks.
