Pupils and families at Crockerton School came together to celebrate the school’s 180th anniversary.
Members of the school community gathered on the field after school on Friday 11th July to play games, enjoy the sunshine, have a BBQ and refreshments, while the children played golf, dodgeball and football before taking part in the school’s first sponsored colour run.
Headteacher Nic Ilic said, “Whilst the evening was to celebrate 180 years of Crockerton School, we also hoped to raise vital funds for the school – these will go towards keeping the costs of trips down and providing the school with additional curriculum resources.
“We were so grateful to two sponsors who paid for the colour run supplies – Snap Fitness in Warminster and Global Protect Security – plus all the parent helpers and organisers who gave up their time to ensure the refreshments tent and BBQ were well stocked!
“This was certainly one of our most enjoyable events and it was a joy to see so many having fun within our community.”
