Families are being invited to come together at The Wellbeing Hub on Saturday 3rd October for a concert by local trio Lorikeet.
The band includes Dave Smith, a drummer who has worked with Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, as well as Fofoulah and Afro-Blues group Juju, singer-songwriter Rosanna Schura, a member of The Puppini Sisters and collaborator with DG Solaris, and Heather Truesdall, a cellist, singer and creative collaborator and co-founder of contemporary music ensemble Jetsam.
The Wellbeing Hub said, “Their folk ballads take the road less travelled, finding stories in unexpected corners. The result is something earthy and playful in equal measure. Come and enjoy a warm, intimate and wonderful evening of beautiful and adventurous music.”
The event runs from 5pm to 8pm, with performances starting at 6pm.
Food will also be available.
Tickets cost £10, with under-16s going free.
