A cheque for £400 was presented to the Warminster Alzheimer’s Support group, based at The Old Silk Works, from the proceeds of the Christmas Tree Festival held at The Minster Church last December.
Representing the festival team in presenting the cheque were Revd Carole Owen, Churchwarden Trevor Hobgen, and one of the leading organisers, Phil Short.
Rachel Fear, speaking on behalf of staff members, volunteers, and clients, thanked the festival team for their generous donation. She also expressed how much they had enjoyed displaying their tree entry over the weekend and said they were looking forward to the next tree festival event in December.
