A local furniture shop has raised over £10,000 for the charity Alzheimer’s Support Wiltshire, which provides support for people living with all types of dementia and their families.
Crockerton Furniture Centre Ltd reached the fundraising milestone through the ongoing sale of second-hand furniture over the past four years, with all proceeds from these sales donated directly to the charity.
Rachel Fear, community fundraising manager at Alzheimer’s Support Wiltshire, said, “We are blown away by the overwhelming community support and cannot thank the team enough.
“Raising such a significant amount is an incredible achievement and a testament to their commitment to our charity.
“Their generosity has gone a long way in supporting the services we provide to people living with dementia in Wiltshire, and we are immensely grateful.”
The Crockerton Furniture Centre is located just off the A350 in the Crockerton Shopping Centre.
