THE Wessex MS Therapy Centre’s charity shop in Warminster will close next month due to rising costs.
The shop, based in Three Horseshoes Walk, will close in mid-April when the charity’s three-year lease comes to an end and is no longer accepting donations.
Rosie Eliot, CEO of the charity, said, “We want to thank our fantastic volunteers for all the hard work they have put in over the last three years; we could not have done this without them.
“We also want to thank our loyal customers who have supported us by bringing in donations and buying from our shop. We are going to miss them all.”
The shop was Warminster’s only independent charity shop. Money raised from sales went towards helping the centre provide physical, emotional and psychological support for people with multiple sclerosis and other conditions.
With over 300 members using the charity every week, the hub in the heart of Warminster acts as a lifeline to hundreds of local people.
