A new headteacher has been praised for her “dedicated” response to her new role.
Mrs Odele Lapham has worked at Horningsham Primary School for 13 years before taking up her current position. She previously led the school as PE lead, SENCO and Assistant Headteacher before taking up her new role.
Stephanie Storrar, Chair of Governors at Horningsham Primary School, said, “She impressed the interview panel with her enthusiasm for learning and teaching, her leadership skills and her total commitment to the school and its community.
“Mrs Lapham recognises the unique nature of the school and has worked tirelessly to ensure that the children can thrive in an inclusive and nurturing environment.
“We are extremely fortunate to have appointed such a dedicated and passionate leader to take us forward.”
