A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent following an incident in a residential street in Warminster.
Richard Andrew, 39, of no fixed abode, appeared before Swindon Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on Wednesday 19th August.
Police say officers were called by the ambulance service to a report of an assault in Furlong shortly before 5.45pm on Thursday 23rd July.
A man in his 30s from Shaftesbury was taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries to his arm.
