The Mayor of Warminster recently led local people on a fancy-dress walk throughout town to explore the Roarminster trail.
Mayor Jack Jones led a group of dressed-up dinosaurs and dinosaur hunters of all ages for the special walk on Thursday 6th August.
“It is fantastic to see so many people taking part in the trail,” said Cllr Jones. “Roarminster has been another brilliant addition to Warminster’s summer events programme, bringing families into the town centre to explore, have fun and support local businesses.”

Visitors and residents can explore the town, discover the dinosaurs, enter a word scramble prize draw and enjoy a programme of dinosaur-themed activities throughout the summer holidays.
The dinosaur trail will remain in the town until Saturday 5th September.
“We hope even more visitors will come along and discover everything Warminster has to offer,” said Cllr Jones. “If you have not taken part yet, there is still plenty of time to join the dinosaur hunt and enjoy a great day out in our town.”

There is also still time to take part in the Roarminster loyalty card scheme, which offers a top prize of a £500 voucher to spend at participating Warminster businesses. Run by Warminster Business Network (WBN), the dinosaur-themed initiative encourages residents and visitors to shop locally and return to the town centre throughout the summer.
Shoppers receive one stamp for every £10 spent with a participating business. Collect 10 stamps to be entered into the draw for the £500 voucher prize.
