A day of films, food and entertainment will take place in Codford next month to raise money for repairs at the village hall.
Codford Screen on the Green will take place on Saturday 12th September from 2pm to 11pm at the Broadleaze fields.
Hoppers, an animated comedy following an animal lover whose mind is transferred into a robotic beaver in order to communicate with animals, will be screened from 3pm.
At 5pm, jazz singer Sandy Ince will perform a selection of songs from the 1950s and from the Grease soundtrack, ahead of the Grease singalong showing at 6pm.
There will also be a pizza truck, fairground rides, face painting and a bar which will remain open until 11pm.
“Gather your crew, grab your blankets, and join us for an unforgettable evening of film, fresh air, and fantastic food,” said organisers.
The event will raise money for roof repairs at Codford Village Hall.
Tickets cost £5 for children and £10 for adults and are available to purchase from Codford’s Budgens or on the gate. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or chairs.
