Parking restrictions are being considered for several roads in Warminster as Wiltshire Council proposes new ‘no waiting at any time’ measures across the town.
The plans include new double yellow lines on sections of Coppice Close, Deverill Road, Emwell Street, Grovelands Way, Norridge View, Pampas Court, Portway, Upper Marsh Road and Weymouth Street. For more details, see the Traffic Regulation Order to the left on this page.
Warminster Town Council previously endorsed the need for double yellow lines on one side of Weymouth Street, after members of the public and councillors raised concerns about access for emergency services during busy times, as well as traffic congestion.
Residents and businesses can comment on the plans before a decision is made.
Representations should be submitted in writing to Highways Assets and Commissioning, by email to TrafficOrderConsultations@wiltshire.gov.uk or through the council website. The deadline for responses is 19th January 2026, quoting reference LJB/TRO/WARM3.
