A poster competition is being run by the Warminster Toad Patrol to raise awareness of the amphibians migrating in the Smallbrook Meadows area.
Participants are asked to design a poster that encourages people to take alternative routes to avoid Smallbrook Road during toad mating season as they use the route to make their way to breeding ponds.
The competition is open to all ages and has three categories: 10 and under, 11 to 18 years old, and over 18.
“Winners will have their poster used locally by Warminster Toad Patrol and will receive a prize bundle sponsored by Button and Squirt,” said a spokesperson from the group.
The winner will be announced at the toad party on 28th February at Lakeside Community Centre.
Entries close on Friday 20th February. To enter, email your poster to warminstertoadpatrol@gmail.com
