Young performers with the Athenaeum Masqueraders are gearing up to take to the stage this May half term with a production of Shrek the Musical.
The family-friendly show will run from Wednesday 27th until Saturday 30th May at the Athenaeum.
“Known for their energy, talent and ambition, the young performers are ready to bring something truly special to local audiences,” said assistant director Claire Dalton.
“This year’s show promises a spectacular experience, complete with eye-catching costumes, an imaginative set and a fantastic song list guaranteed to have audiences singing and dancing along. Bringing the beloved characters of Shrek, Donkey, Fiona and more to life, the production is packed with humour, heart and high-energy performances.”
Performances will take place at 7pm, with an additional matinee performance on the Saturday at 2pm.
