A weekend of celebrations has been held at St Lawrence Chapel to mark the return of the town clock and chiming bells to working order.
Events included an Orthodox blessing of the bells on Saturday 12th July and a special evensong service on Sunday 13th July, led by the Bishop of Ramsbury, Rt Rev Andrew Rumsey.

Warminster’s historic town clock and bells, located at the chapel, recently underwent repairs and are now working again after almost three years of silence.
Representatives from a wide range of groups who supported the project attended the celebrations, including Warminster Town Council, Warminster Preservation Trust, The Fudge Trust, Longleat Masonic Lodge, The Friends of the Chapel of St Lawrence, Lyons Seafoods and individual donors.
Chair of the Feoffees and Trustees, Ian Frostick, said, “We also took the opportunity to celebrate John Wheeler’s 100th birthday.
“Retired Colonel Charles Clee and representatives of the Household Cavalry presented a plaque and champagne to John.”
