A careers fair at Kingdown School has brought together local employers and further education providers to showcase the career pathways available to students.
The annual careers fair, which took place on Friday 10th October, saw 1,000 students take the chance to speak directly with industry professionals and employers about different career options.
A variety of employers, including Arla, Babcock International, Bath College, Bath Spa University, Bishopstrow Hotel, Farnfields Solicitors, Haddon Training, Management Training Plus, the Military, Royal Holloway University, University of Bath, and Wiltshire College, offered advice on apprenticeships, education, and job opportunities to students keen to plan their future.
The school reports that this year’s event was praised by both students and business owners.
Lesley Blain from Management Training Plus praised the professionalism of the students and said, “The event was such an enjoyable day.”
The event, organised by Chantell Knight, Careers Advisor at Kingdown School, is set to return next year following its success.
