Warminster is fast earning a reputation as a comedy destination, following the sold-out success of its first major live comedy night and a line-up of top-flight comedians coming this February.
The upcoming show, on Saturday 15th February at the Athenaeum, will feature Hal Cruttenden, Paul McCaffrey, Eshaan Akbar and Rich Wilson, performers more commonly seen headlining national tours, comedy festivals and major UK venues.
Between them, the line-up has appeared on shows including Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News For You, various Netflix shows and across BBC Radio.
“Warminster really showed up for our first show, which made it an easy decision to come back with something bigger,” said Ben Milden, events lead for the organisers, The Laughter Lab. “There’s a brilliant atmosphere at The Athenaeum, and it’s exciting to see the town embracing live comedy in such a big way.
“The strength of the line-up marks a clear step up from the debut event and positions Warminster alongside larger towns and cities on the UK comedy circuit, as audiences increasingly seek high-quality live entertainment closer to home.
“The aim is to deliver a true big-night-out comedy experience while keeping events accessible to local audiences.
“With the first show selling out in advance, demand for the February date is expected to be high.”
