A group of military veterans from Warminster visited the Bath and Wiltshire Air Ambulance operations centre recently to present a donation raised at a local charity evening earlier this year.
Capt. (Retd) Tom O’Brien, Chairman of the Royal Irish Rangers Association, was joined by Mike Walsh of the Royal Green Jackets and Royal Irish Rangers Derek Moore and Tommy Graham to hand over funds raised during the annual Veterans Games Night held at the Conservative Club in Warminster.
“The annual Veterans Games Night raises funds for local causes,” said Capt O’Brien. “The veterans and their families want to help local causes where they can as a small thank you to the local community for all their support.”
This year, the veterans chose to support the vital work of the Air Ambulance team, recognising their life-saving service across Wiltshire and beyond.
