A fundraising curry night, hosted by the Wessex MS Therapy Centre, raised over £500 for the Warminster-based charity.
The annual event took place at The Agra in Warminster, where attendees enjoyed a three-course banquet.
A total of £565 was raised through ticket sales and a raffle on the night. The money will help support people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions in Warminster and the surrounding areas.
“We are so grateful to all who joined us for the evening,” said Amanda Strong, Events and Fundraising Coordinator for Wessex MS Therapy Centre.
“Events like this not only raise much needed funds but also bring our community together.”
Salim at The Agra said, “It was inspiring to see everyone come together for such an important cause.”
The Wessex MS Therapy Centre is self-funded and so relies on fundraising events to continue providing support to members. The centre provides a wide range of therapies and services, including physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, counselling, complementary therapies, and social support, which are all aimed at improving quality of life, promoting independence, and reducing isolation.
