A coffee morning took place earlier this month to raise money for local support charity Warminster Action Group (WAG).
Hosted by Warminster United Church on Saturday 13th September, organisers described the event as ‘very successful’, with over £200 raised for the charity.
WAG is a charity that supports the local community, whether by picking up someone’s shopping, popping round for a chat, or offering a place where people can come in, have a cup of tea, and not feel alone.
“There were lots of delicious cakes to partake of, made by church members and WAG volunteers. People were invited to give a donation in thanks for enjoying these cakes, and £203.38 was raised to help Warminster Action Group continue its wonderful work in the community,” said organisers.
