A coffee morning has raised more than £150 for a Warminster-based charity.
The event raised money for Warminster Action Group (WAG), a grassroots charity supporting people in Warminster with practical help, connection and opportunities.
“On behalf of Warminster Action Group, I would like to thank everyone who baked cakes and made Easter gifts for the event, and to all those who attended and showed their support,” said Debbie Jolliffe from WAG.
“We are extremely grateful to the United Church for hosting the event for us. It’s so wonderful to see the local community unite to benefit a local charity.”
The WAG house in Wilson and Kennard Yard offers a creative space, community shed and relaxing lounge. The charity also runs a prescription collection service and weekly shopping service for people who are housebound.
