A new festival aimed at showcasing activities for children and young people will take place in Warminster next month.
Warminster YouthFest will take place in the Lake Pleasure Grounds on Saturday 11th July from 10am until 2pm.
Activities on offer will include archery, face painting, an obstacle course, den building, crockery smashing, arts and crafts, as well as free tennis and boats on the lake. The splash pad and skate park will also be open.
The event is free to enter and has been organised by Warminster Town Council.
“We’re so excited to add another event for the local community,” said Mayor Jack Jones. “Warminster YouthFest will highlight the amazing variety of activities available for local people.
“The new event also officially launches Roarminster as the town council remains committed to organising fun events for the local community that also increase exposure of our wonderful town. This new event is for the youth of Warminster and we can’t wait for another fun day in the park.”
Food and drink will also be on sale alongside the popular Pavilion Parlour.
