The countdown is on for this year’s Carnival Chase, the popular community run supporting Warminster Carnival.
Taking place on Sunday 7th September, the event offers something for everyone with a choice of 10k, 3k and a 1.2K family, wheelchair and buggy fun run.
“This picturesque run will take you down country lanes, tracks and trails, starting and finishing by the boating lake in Warminster Town Park,” says the organisers, Redfish Events.
“There is one stile, a few kissing gates and a hill on the 10k and 3k routes while the 1.2k is buggy and wheelchair friendly.”
The 10k is open to runners aged 16+ and starts at 10.30am; the 3k is open to all (under 10s must be accompanied) and starts at 10.45am; and the 1.2K fun run is suitable for families, wheelchairs and buggies, and starts at 10.50am
All finishers will receive a medal, and prizes will be awarded in each event category.
