A fundraising walk or run challenge will take place to raise money for Dorothy House in memory of a much-loved Warminster woman.
Miles of Love for Sam will take place on Saturday 20th December at the Lake Pleasure Grounds. Registration opens at 9.30am, with participants challenged to run or walk as many miles as possible between 10am and 12pm.
Money raised will be donated to Dorothy House in memory of Sam, a well-known Warminster woman who spent her final days at the hospice earlier this year.
A £1 donation is required to take part in the challenge. Sponsorship forms can be collected from War Boxing Academy during opening hours.
“Feel free to dress up or just come as yourselves to join in the fun and help raise money for an amazing charity that supported Sam and her family,” said organisers.
Sugar Hut, the sweet shop Sam started in the town, will be providing food and drinks on the day. A charity raffle will also take place after the event.
