A Christmas fair has raised funds for a local charity that supports people with multiple sclerosis.
The Wessex MS Therapy Centre hosted the fair, with all proceeds going back into the charity. It was the centre’s first Christmas fair since 2019 and raised £1,343, which will go towards subsidising therapies and supporting people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.
The fair featured 16 stalls offering a variety of handmade gifts, crafts and seasonal treats. Visitors also enjoyed tea and home-baked cakes and had the chance to enter a raffle for a Christmas hamper.
“The Wessex MS Therapy Centre would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came along, shopped, baked, donated, volunteered, or simply enjoyed a slice of cake,” said Events and Fundraising Coordinator Amanda Strong. Your support made this special event such a success and helped bring the local community together once again.”
The centre hopes to hold a Christmas fair again next year.
